Super interesting approach! I like how you build it in a scalable way. It truly can be used in any context.
Claude Skills could achieve similar results. What's your take between using NotebookLM and Claude? Curious if one performs better in a specific context when the task is up for grab in both environments.
I am asking because it impacts tooling and I like simplicity. If possible I'd stick to one tool (Claude) unless NotebookLM has truly an unfair advantage in specific areas.
They are indeed quite different. I’m still debating in my head whether I want a knowledge base (e.g. research) in NotebookLM and run my power tasks in Claude. My content gen pipeline is in Claude and I am slowly building skills. It’d require a bridge like yours to work properly. Even then, you’d have to tell Claude explicitly to look at a notebookLm project as opposed to leverage a Claude folder.
One benefit of using NotebookLM is cost savings for sure!
Thanks for sharing your journey! It makes me think 😉
Claude Skills are very good, but they are quite different from NotebookLM. If you look at it from a “persona” perspective, they may seem similar, but Claude Skills are generally more powerful.
You can integrate APIs, use the full capabilities of Claude, and even control your PC.
Claude and NotebookLM are actually my favourite AI tools, and I find they work best when used together:

Cost saving is definitely a benefit. Glad you liked it!
