Data Project #1 : Life Longevity Factors
Data Analysis methods are about to change, are you ready for that?
Data Analysis is about to change forever because of the AI tools that have been continuously invented. As a previous Engineer, Data Scientist, and current AI MSc student, I am eager to adapt those changes to Data Analysis.
Why? Actually, I am wondering what might be done by using these tools. Can we find more precise answers to our questions? Information is one of the most important things, and we can find further answers, including important answers to our questions.
In this Data Report, I’ve done a Data Project by using both the Data Analysis method, and ChatGPT, ChatGPT Plug-ins, Dall-E-3, and more to find answer the questions on my mind and I’ve found very useful information, let’s see few of them ahead.
Do you know that consuming less food might lead to an 11.67-year increase in life expectancy, more significant than the 7 years added by healthy eating alone?
Do you know that being in a good marriage could provide a 10-year increase in life expectancy?
Do you know that physical inactivity is more harmful( 2 years more) to your lifespan than eating red meat?
Well, I also did not know, and we will discover this.

Special GPTs ( Learn AI With Me, Phoneix Ink)
Currently, I am working hard on Learn AI With Me GPT.
You might not know me. But let me understand why it will be a good choice for you to learn AI by using my GPT. I am a former Mechanical Engineer and current Data Scientist / AI Specialist, and have worked for over 6+ years as a freelancer.
But, 1 year ago, I didn’t even take one job from Upwork, yet after ChatGPT, everything changed for me. Now I am a top talent on Upwork, I’ve worked over 5000+ hours, and doubled my hourly rate. You can check it out from here.
Why am I telling you this? I did this by using ChatGPT to create learning materials about Data Science and AI. And with the latest ChatGPT update, I can finally design a perfect teacher.
Imagine a teacher that can reach the web instantly, and answer your messages instantly 7/24. This teacher won’t get bored, or stop online always for you. And this teacher's name is Learn AI With Me.
By using this GPT, you can learn Python libraries such as matplotlib, numpy, pandas, and scikit-learn to build AI applications. This curriculum, which I personally created by combining various resources, is regularly updating.
But not only these, you can also learn Python from the beginning, and will make you a Python hero.
Here is the link to this GPT.
Now enough with chit-chat, let’s start with Data Report #1.
Life Longevity Factors
In this data report, I analyzed Life Longevity Factors. In this dataset, I collected from Kaggle. Here is the information about the Dataset, where I collect by using ChatGPT.
As you can see, this one is really funny.
To order factors, I need to create a graph. Here you can see
This graph should have effect on the decisions we made, right? Because as you can see habits like smoking and alcohol (heavy) use have negative effect on us, on the other hand meditation or having pet have really positive effect about extending our lives.
Analysis of Life Longevity Factors
Now according to the graph above, let's evaluate the factors that will increase or decrease your life span.
Top 5 Factors Gaining Years to Life:
Spending more time with women: Adds 15 years to life.
Avoid Cancer: Also associated with an increase of 15 years.
A lifestyle of non-smoking, exercising, and healthy eating: Contributes 14 years to life expectancy.
Avoid heart disease: Adds 13 years to life.
More Meditation: Associated with an increase of 12 years.
Top 5 Factors Losing Years from Life:
Mental Illness: Reduces life expectancy by 25 years.
Alcohol (heavy abuse): Reduces life expectancy by 11 years.
Smoking: Decreases lifespan by 10 years.
Obesity: Associated with a life reduction of 8.5 years.
Sitting Down: Linked to a decrease in life expectancy by 3 years.
Controversial Truth About Life Longevity
Now, let’s evaluate this. But to create a great impact, let’s focus on the controversial insights from life longevity factors.
Social over Financial Wealth: Earning more is often seen as essential, and according to our data adds up 7.5 years to your life, but companionship, especially spending time with women, could add up to 15 years to your life.
The Polygamy Paradox: Having multiple spouses, despite its controversies, is linked to a 9.3-year boost in life expectancy.
Genetics vs. Lifestyle: Lifestyle choices, such as avoiding cancer and heart disease, could add up to 14 years to your life, which has more substantial impact on your lifespan than your genetic( up to 5 years) makeup.
Eating Less or Eating Healthier?: Consuming less food might lead to an 11.67-year increase in life expectancy, more significant than the 7 years added by healthy eating alone.
Pleasure's Health Benefits: Regular orgasms are associated with adding 4 years to your lifespan.
The Love-Longevity Link: Being in a good marriage could provide a 10-year increase in life expectancy, similar to the benefits of avoiding cancer.
Sitting vs. Eating: Physical inactivity is more harmful( 2 years more) to your lifespan than eating red meat.
Mental Health Magnitude: Mental illness can reduce life expectancy by 25 years, emphasizing the importance of mental health.
These insights serve as conversation starters and reminders that our lifespan is shaped by a variety of choices and circumstances. Consider what changes you might make for a longer, healthier life.
A lifestyle of Non-smoking, Exercising, and Healthy eating
In our report, there are also links that includes the researches that supports these ideas, like below.
So I wonder about the research about: “A lifestyle of Non-smoking, Exercising, and Healthy eating”.
You can use a simple prompt, after a little bit of code, and here is the result, that summarizes the research, of course with the help of ChatGPT and Python code.
The PLOS Medicine article explores the impact of a healthy lifestyle on life expectancy in individuals with multimorbidity, which refers to having two or more long-term health conditions. The study underlines the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, regular exercise, and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol, especially for longevity.
It notes that lower alcohol intake and higher physical activity levels have been linked to a significant increase in life expectancy in prior large studies. However, the effect of a healthy lifestyle on people with multiple chronic conditions had not been thoroughly investigated until this study, and this research aims to clarify that impact
Final Thoughts
In my opinion, data analysis techniques are about to change completely. Because these AI tools will make everything easier. They are not good as humans, but they are perfect servants in the right hands.
Now all of this Data Report is here. Thanks for reading.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
